We’re a week into another lockdown in the UK, and while many of us are furloughed from work - or working from home again - we’re not using our cars as much... or at all.

Don’t forget to start your cars once in a while (where possible of course) to keep the battery charged and in good condition for when things return to normal.
*
15 minutes is the recommended running time for a car if it’s being parked for weeks to months on end, when you’re carrying out the above. Once every week is a good benchmark to go by.
*
Brakes may also seize if the handbrake isn’t functioned for long periods of time, so if you can engage and release the handbrake and even move the car back and forth a few meters - all the better.
*
Don’t forget to check your tyre pressures and fluid levels too.
