The auto gearbox on a w113 Pagoda has never been the smoothest, here we are testing the changes. It’s a 1969 280SL California, bought from auction and has just been worked on including a modernised Becker radio with DAB. The owner is happy so we are happy!

Successfully installing a retro Modern RCM 82 Blaupunkt in place of the Ferrari 550 OE Sony unit. Owner now has USB, DAB, Handsfree, Bluetooth without losing any period correct aesthetic.

Fitting a four channel 180w modernised 1969 Becker Europa into this Mercedes 280SL Pagoda.

We added pre outs to power a slim under seat sub, hid two 5” coaxial shallow mounts behind brand new under dash trims and installed our upgraded dash speaker.

Once put back together you would not be able to tell it’s not all factory - until you switch it on ofcourse 😂
