Thursday this week was a special day, the F-15E Strike Eagle 91-311 of proudly took to the skies on its maiden flight and passed through the Mach Loop with its new livery on show, known as ‘KARMA52.’

Back on the 5th April 1986 during Operation El Dorado Canyon, the F-111 Aardvark known as ‘KARMA52’ was unfortunately shot down off the coast of Libya, killing both the WSO, Captain Paul F. Lorence and the pilot who was Captain Fernando Ribas-Dominicci.

To pay tribute to the loss of the two serviceman and the jet, and also to the fact that it’s been 40 years since this happened, this F-15 was painted in the same scheme as the F-111 that was lost. What an amazing opportunity it was to see this jet fly through effortlessly and it was well worth the last minute scramble up the hill to photograph!

This was a pleasant surprise to see parked up the other week, just stone’s throw from Harrods. This Singer 911 Classic Study was one I had never seen before and in a totally unique specification when compared to others, I mean check out the yellow interior! I can’t find much information online about this one as I believe it’s one of the more recent commissions, so if you have any interesting information, please do let me know in the comments! With that aside, what a treat this was to see all on its own!

Marshmallows anyone? They could have definitely been put to good use on this flaming Lamborghini Aventador S! 😂 It’s amazing what you can see out and about during one evening in central London. It felt like the good old days seeing some Aventadors driving about as you don’t really see them that often now I feel. I remember coming down to London circa 2014-2015 and seeing around 25 different ones in one weekend during the summer! But that aside, there was a great mix of cars around as always. 👌🏼

The hangar doors were opened, the engines were rumbling and the people and their dogs were exploring as opened up for the next Scramble! After what felt like forever since the last event, it felt amazing to be back to what is one of the most magical events in the automotive calendar, filled with a variety of special cars quite like nowhere else, amazing people and incredible dogs. I hope you all managed to get your tickets for the next one in October!
