Soo another year has passed @ Eltham test centre. We have expanded our team. We are now a nex drive centre for all your electric Vehicle's from servicing to repairs. And of course for all your MOTs servicing, maintenance and repairs to All types of vehicles.

We have a new master technician on board with us for those Diagnostic repairs.

Service / Reception Desk Advisor

We are a successful family run independent garage in New Eltham and we are looking for an enthusiastic Service / Reception Desk Advisor to join our busy friendly team.
As our Service / Reception Desk Advisor you will be the primary liaison for customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. You will handle MOT, service and vehicle repair appointments, address customer inquiries, take payments and coordinate with the workshop team to deliver timely updates and precise information.
This is a full-time vacancy for 40-45 Hours a week, Mon-Sat, although some degree of flexibility can be discussed. Salary range £28,000-£31,000 (pro rata depending on hours). We offer a friendly working environment with 30 days holiday per year (inclusive of bank holidays).

Eltham Test Centre

Role: Vehicle Technician (MOT Test licence an advantage, but not essential)

We have a vacancy for a skilled vehicle technician to join us at our site in New Eltham. Ideally you will hold an MOT Test licence, but this is not essential.

Working as part of a small friendly team, you will work on a wide range of vehicles from everyday cars and vans to prestige brands and sports/performance models, aiming to provide a high level of service and satisfaction through your work for our customers.

Our work varies day to day, so you should be prepared to be adaptable to the situation. You must be able to work as team member, but also be self-motivated and be able to use your own initiative where required.

The latest diagnostic equipment is available to use, along with data platforms for manufacturer information, to make the job easier for you, along with a wide range of knowledge within our current team.

The role:
• To carry out the servicing, repair and inspection of customer and Company vehicles as instructed
• To diagnose vehicle faults
• To operate according to technical literature and the Service Procedure Manual where necessary, as well as using skill and experience
• To ensure customers vehicles are kept secure and clean at all times.
• To attend training courses as required
• To support and implement the Company’s Quality System and carry out the responsibilities documented in the relevant procedure manuals
• To maintain a good personal appearance
• To keep work stations clean and free from any rubbish, scrap or unmarked spare parts
• To be fully flexible, so as to be able to cover a wide-ranging variety of duties which may be required of any employee of the Company at any time and in any area of the Company’s operation, as deemed necessary by the Directors.

About you:
• You must have a good working attitude, be self-motivated and be able to use your own initiative
• You must be able to perform diagnostic, service, maintenance and repairs
• Minimum of level 2 (nvq/city & guilds or equivalent) with garage experience
• MOT Test Licence (ideal, but not essential)
• Be able to keep your working area clean and tidy to company standards
• You must have & provide a sufficient quantity of your own tools to carry out the work required.
• Due to insurance reasons we can only accept applications from individuals over the age of 25
• You must hold a full UK driving licence (ideally clean, but no more than 3 penalty points).

Salary & Benefits:
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm,
Sat 8am-4pm on rota basis (minimum 2 Saturdays per month)
Salary: dependent on experience (Overtime: paid @ 1.5)
Holiday: 20 days pa, plus bank holidays
Company pension
Parking: permit supplied if required
