Paul Tunnicliffe’s latest Life on Cars episode is out, one for SZ owners who are interested in fog lamps.

Paul fitted Lucas Square 8 fog lamps to his Silver Spirit in episode 33. They were a factory option his car was never ordered with. Now he’s finally wired them in properly: he traced the factory wire inside the car, put a relay in the empty slot and hid the switch under the steering wheel. Then the surprise: a fog lamp warning light on the dash that had been waiting there since 1994 😀

Paul Tunnicliffe's latest Life on Cars episode is out, great for those with an SZ model.

His Silver Spirit's low fuel light had never come on, so while chasing a petrol smell in the boot he takes out the fuel sender. The resistor track was worn and burnt at the bottom end, right where the warning is triggered. New sender now fitted, and the light back on :)

The sender and seal and dash warning lights are also covered. The petrol smell is still a work in progress, so if you've got ideas, he'd like to hear them.
