Winter: Stay safe when it gets cold
As temperatures drop, prevention becomes essential:
Test your battery and lubricate terminals (cold kills weak batteries fast).
Check antifreeze strength to avoid frozen coolant.
Inspect tyre tread depth (at least 3 mm recommended in winter).
Check wiper blades and top up screenwash with winter-grade fluid.
Check the lights, horn, ABS and airbag warning lights.
Winter checks aren’t just about comfort—they’re about safety. Poor visibility, slippery roads and dead batteries are all avoidable with the right preparation.
