My last Boat Move took place last week.
But what a move, rubbish galore on the Paddington Arm 🙁
Broken Alternator Belt just before Bulls Bridge Junction 😫
Rescued by Chris who appeared on his boat and towed us to David Watson who incredibly had the desired belt and fitted it perfectly 🤩 Thanks to both of you, my heroes 😊
Delivered boat to P&S on time, yipeeee

Morning☀️
First boat move of 2026, best laid plans and all. Collected on the Paddington Arm, faced delays with works on the towpath which paused us, as the navigation was blocked, then caught behind a tug, HeyHo.
Found a beautiful spot to moor, so alls well in the end 😊

A beautiful morning moving a boat from Hampton to Teddington. Early start but it was gorgeously sunny and warm ☀️
Apparently, the water temperature was 7 degrees, according to the wild swimmers 🥶

Lindsey helped me drive my boat for half a day recently, and I couldn’t have asked for a more patient and calm instructor, with a steady hand giving direction and encouragement when I felt unsure on my manoeuvering and navigation. I would highly recommend her! Thanks Lindsey x

Morning, I’ve been rather quiet on fb in these interesting and challenging times on the cut.
Thankfully things are improving, with, according to C&RT only a few areas still on restrictions 😊
It feels good to be able to offer availability in November for own boat training and moving.
Through the restrictions, I have been able, on a limited basis, own boat training and boat moves, and now wonderfully, rescheduling is in full swing.
Looking forward to hearing from you
