Wet belt Wednesdays, this transit owner was very lucky to catch this one in time, lost the vacuum for the brakes and developed a hard pedal fault, usually a telltale sign the oil is full of fibres from the timing belt blocking the vac pump, luckily he came straight in and after a quick inspection it was fairly obvious it hadn’t been maintained very well, a full Ford kit was used consisting of timing belt kit, new cover, new oil pump belt, new sump, oil and filter, new auxiliary belts and a new vacuum pump, now back up and running as it should be without the stiff brake pedal!
We like a transit wet belt here at dg autos don’t hesitate to get booked if yours needs done.

It’s the Start of another month and quite a few unpaid bills from last month and beyond. I think after years of being sound it’s time to change things a little as being sound gets you absolutely nowhere,
As of now no cars will leave the yard unless paid for in full.
Please don’t ask for credit/payup schemes as that doesn’t help me pay my bills at the end of every week! Thanks for understanding.

Summer holidays are upon us already 😅 few changes this year though, my number 07577447592 is now only designated to the garage and will only be reachable in garage hours, 0900 - 1730 Monday to Friday, as much as I love my customers and wouldn’t be in business without you I need time to switch off at nights and weekends in my own time.

Next up I have an extra pair of hands these days in the shape of the big bold Keith which has been for the better may I add, less waiting time and jobs not rushed out the door 😎

With that said the garage will be closed Friday the 5th July and Monday the 8th July and DG will be off untill Tuesday the 16th but big Keithy boy will be in from Tuesday 9th and will have the garage phone, so any queries call/text/whatsapp and I’m sure he will do his best to answer any questions, he does have a fair bit of work to get through but we have tried to leave room for any emergencies 🙏🏻 much love DGx
