Well well well,it’s taken me from 2017 to find this picture,,THE FISH THAT ESCAPED THE POOL😵😵 the picture that was upside down and the only picture of the same fish,this was the fish that maxed the scales out @ 27lbs 10oz and there was a fair bit weight left to go,potentially a British record,I was totally alone and it was hours till Alex passed in the morning,so I made a rock pool for it,normally we have the burn pool to keep big fish in but there was a bad drought that year so had to improvise,decided to make a rock pool in the corner of my pier but it escaped by jumping clean out it😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵😵🤪🤪😢😢😢my heart broke right there n then,and couldn’t get it with the net either n had to watch it swim away casually like nothing happened amd it knew it was free,the minute I put the fish in there it done a. 360 of the pool and knew right away where the weak spot was,I watched it try to get out and thought no way that lump can get over there it’s only getting half way thrashing about,2 hours later I jumped in my bed at 6am n boom it jumped the wall😢😢so I’ll never know the true size then the camping van come into play and that was that,never been back 😢😢😢😢😢
