⭐️⭐️⭐️ It has taken us a while to post this....⭐️⭐️⭐️
To be given the opportunity to create a fully adaptive and accessible horsebox for Faye O'Hara has been one of our most challenging, rewarding and heart warming projects.
The whole team have been so touched with Faye's journey and have proudly worked together to create CC, all putting forward their own suggestions, tweaks and ideas - it really has been a labour of love.
🔹The initial task was to source the very best chassis for the budget - for this we went straight to the incredible team at FleetEx who not only took onboard Faye's story - they even discounted the original price. Highly recommend this family owned and run business🔹
🔹 Next on the list was to source the wheelchair lift - Ricon Group (Ricon Corp., Concord Elevators) were our go to. Special mention to Michael Dickinson for his time, care and expertise 🔹
Above standard CC is fitted with the following:
🔹 Gantry hoist in the living to enable Faye to move from chair to chair/bed to wet room etc 🔹
🔹 Electrically actuated fold down bed which folds away to allow Faye as much maneuverability as possible within the living 🔹
🔹 On board push button start generator to not only power the living but to allow Faye to charge her chairs whilst away - something she was unable to do before 🔹
🔹 Wheelchair securing points in the living so Faye can now travel in the horse box with Nick and Majestic as previously she would have to follow in her own car. I suppose you could say she is now backstepping for Nick Burnett whilst he drives 🤣
🔹 Radio controlled external swing out gantry for Faye to be lifted onto the carriage and to move from chair to chair independently🔹
🔹 App controlled awning 🔹
🔹 Radio controlled hydraulic no step rear ramp 🔹
🔹 Radio controlled winch to load the carriage 🔹
🔹 Wet room with shower chair and magnetic close curtains made by our wonderful Hannah 🔹
🔹 All switches and controls for the living strategically placed to allow Faye to operate all features in the living 🔹
🔹"Faye height' worktops so she can easily slot the chair underneath and prepare food for the whole team🔹
