FULL TIME MECHANIC WANTED
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable, mechanic with proven experience in fitting cam belts, timing chains, brakes, clutches, and handling full mechanical diagnostics. This position is Full Time (40 hours per week) Mon-Friday.
Responsibilities:
• Cam belt and timing chain replacement
• Brake, clutch, Gearbox and suspension work
• General servicing, fault-finding & diagnostics
• Starter motors, alternators, batteries, pumps, etc.
• Keep workspace clean, safe and organised
Requirements:
• Must have your own tools and full driving license
• Proven experience in mechanical work on a wide range of vehicles
• Confident with diagnostics and repair (electrical knowledge a bonus)
• Punctual, honest, and self-motivated
• Capable of working alone or as part of a small team
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred but not essential if highly experienced
What You’ll Get:
• Full time role no weekend work
• 28 days holidays including bank holidays
• Pension Plan
• Good rates of pay – salary to be discussed dependant on experience
