This is very concerning, the date shown on this technical data print is for GNSS (global navigational satellite system) as can be seen is a BOX 3 which shows a recent initial calibration, however as can be seen by the time / date stamp was never done correctly, this could lead to roadside issues or mot fail!!

Truck is currently with us to have these issues resolved as the head is also faulty.

If we can be of any assistance please get in touch.

We are seeing more & more stoneridge smart 2 heads failing, this is a widespread known issue, we are suggesting to replace with a VDO unit as they are far more reliable, if you have a SCANIA or MAN or others fitted with a stoneridge & have any issues that may mean a replacement unit please get in touch.
Very competitive prices are offered for this service, also please remember if a gen 1 smart tacho head fails its now legislation for it to be replaced with the latest generation heads (smart 2) this will require a replacement speed sensor & possibly new DSRC.

this will also make you're vehicle compliant for international journeys.
