MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician
Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per year (DOE)

Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. The successful candidate will carry out MOT testing alongside servicing, diagnostics, and repairs, ensuring vehicles meet safety and legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and servicing
Inspect vehicle systems including brakes, suspension, lighting, and exhausts
Accurately record test results and recommend repairs where required
Maintain MOT testing equipment and follow health & safety procedures
Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues
Requirements
Valid MOT Tester licence (essential)
Fully qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician
Strong mechanical and diagnostic knowledge
Full UK driving licence
Own tools required (workshop equipment provided)
Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
Hours:
Mon–Thu 8:00–5:30 | Fri 8:00–5:00
Saturday 8:00–12:00 (overtime)
