📸 NEWS!!!

Originally, I’d decided the final round of the British Supermoto Championship at Cadwell Park was a no go. Too far, too expensive, and the media application process looked more complicated than applying to become Prime Minister!

But with a massive thank you to David Dearden and his assistance and patience, I’ve finally secured my media pass! 🙌

What does it take to photograph a motorcycle race these days? Apparently:

📸 Four forms of proof of previous work (despite Cadwell Park/MSV already using my images to advertise the event! 🤷‍♂️)
📝 A covering letter
🛡️ Proof of insurance
🪪 Copies of photographic ID
📰 A letter from the publisher
✍️ A letter from the editor… despite not working for a publication!
I'm surprised they didn't ask for a blood sample, my firstborn child and a signed letter from the late Queen. Although, getting Her Majesty out of the ground to sign it might have delayed things slightly. 👑😂

🏁 SO, ABOUT RIDER PHOTOS.....

I'll be at Cadwell, but the restrictions on photographers mean I won't be able to shoot my usual style of images. Those low-down apex shots, close to the action angles and signature trackside shots simply won't be possible in the same way.

And I'm not going to charge riders my usual prices when I can't deliver the style of images you would normally expect from me.

CADWELL WILL BE DONATION-BASED!

I'll capture what I can, and you can donate whatever you feel the photos are worth. No set price, no pressure. I'll still do my best to bring you some cracking shots within the restrictions.

Little update on the weight loss journey....

Left is me Jan this year. Just under 30st (420lbs), in a size 6XL t-shirt....

Right was me this morning, after hitting another huge milestone for me, weighing exactly 22st (308lbs) and the first time I've fitted in a 2XL t-shirt since I was about 12 years old.

Over 100lbs lost in weight - the equivalent of a baby rhino!

Still a way to go, and there are days where I feel like nothing is changing, it's too hard, I want to give in to my cravings and sit and eating loads of chocolate and crisps.... But I haven't, I've kept pushing through, and when I look back at old photos like this I see it's all worth while 🙌

If any companies wanna sponsor me with some supplements, protein, creatine etc I'd be grateful 🤣
