Mk6 Golf 1.6tdi for Ⓜ️Tune Stage 1 performance remap 💻📈

Dylan reached out to me after being turned away by a few companies he had asked to remove the current smoke map on the golf.

He bought the car already tuned with a smoke map & hardcut limiter .... It's a 1.6tdi are you mad bruv 😂

Long story short - I reverted the car back to stock software and started again , applying a tried and tested Tune that would basically make Dylan & the golf happier !

Walked Dylan through the previous tune and what had been changed to make it smoke like a chimney vs the tune that I was flashing in.

Road tested - datalogged - all good 👍🏻

No more smoke , no more ridiculous 4k hardcut limiter ! Just a nice smooth torquey little diesel motor that's now definitely going to return better mpg ....should have called it an eco+ map 😂

They say I should post more ... sooo I am just going to waffle on with whatever springs to mind, straight off the cuff.

eco maps ... a lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon with the eco maps due to the current rise in fuel prices.

But let's be straight the car needs to be in perfect health first to even think about fuel efficiency gains from software, which is often overlooked, because people just want a cheap fix and buy into the ecomap hype!

Dont skip on the basics ... maintain your car correctly, check your tyre pressures, use fuel treatments, have your dpf checked or cleaned.

Turbo diesels see the best fuel efficiency improvements.

petrol engine owners ... your on your own 😂

AI Adverts everywhere - but who are you actually trusting with your vehicle ?

With that in mind I've cobbled together this video to let those who don't know, who the face behind Ⓜ️Tune is !

It was a lot longer but I know everyone has a short attention span these days so I cut loads out 😂

I also hope this will help people understand why I don't price match with the cheap map brigade - why ?

Because I value my experience, training, investment in my business and the service I provide.

I refuse to get drawn in with the race to the bottom mentality with pricing.

I am not for everyone - and I am fine with that.

But if I resonate with you and you aren't driven by the cheapest option , then get in touch 🙌🏻
