A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Chloe, who passed her driving test at St Helens Test Centre with just 2 driving faults! 👏🔥

Chloe put the work in during her lessons and delivered a brilliant drive when it counted. Only 2DF is an excellent result — you should be very proud of yourself! 🥳🪪

🚗⚠️ OBSTRUCTION & MEETING TRAFFIC — WOULD YOU HAVE REACTED? 👀

The obstruction was on our side with an oncoming vehicle approaching.

Then something important happened… 👀

💡 The oncoming driver FLASHED their headlights.

It’s important to notice and react appropriately to signals from other road users — but never assume a flash automatically means it’s safe to go.

The learner still needs to:
✅ Check the situation is safe
✅ Assess the available space
✅ Keep observing the other vehicle
✅ Only proceed when satisfied it’s safe

🚦 WE HAD A GREEN LIGHT… BUT WAS STOPPING THE RIGHT DECISION? 🤔

This clip has two completely different learning points.

First, the learner reads the road markings and deals with the junction independently — excellent work. 💯👏

Then, seconds later, a pedestrian is already in the road ahead.

Even though our traffic light was GREEN, the situation ahead still needed to be dealt with safely.

This time I provided verbal guidance to help the learner recognise the developing hazard, reduce his speed and be prepared to stop.

Ultimately, we stopped and gave the pedestrian the opportunity to clear our path safely. 🚶🛑

Having a green light doesn’t remove your responsibility to react to what’s actually happening in front of you.

These unpredictable situations are exactly why developing awareness, anticipation and independent decision-making is so important.

Massive congratulations to Massoud, who passed his manual driving test on his FIRST ATTEMPT with only ONE minor! 🔥

Massoud has put the work in throughout his lessons and when test day arrived, he delivered. Staying calm under pressure and producing a drive of that standard is something to be very proud of. 👏

A huge well done to our Driving Instructor, Walid, too! Walid’s hard work, patience and commitment to his learners continues to pay off. Another learner prepared to a fantastic standard and another brilliant result for the team. 💪
