First run of Bernard’s engine since 2016. Freshly rebuilt, he sounds very sweet, but one small oil leak to tackle. Nice work, Steve!

Bernard has received new kingpins, a rear wheel bearing and new rear brakes. He’s now had his brand new hydraulic system bled through with purple silicone fluid.
You’ll notice the headlight shells are grey, not beige. For a time, it seems, this was the order of things - and as far as I can see, 1977 was during that epoch. I rather like the contrast. It looks…commercial!
