We’re hiring: All-Round Marine Engineering
Technician (Full-Time, Permanent)
Birdham Pool Marina (main office) + Littlehampton facility
£30,000 starting salary (with a guaranteed pay rise after probation)+ company pension 40 hours/week | In-person | Own hand tools required (we provide specialist tooling + diagnostics)
LC Marine is growing fast off the back of a strong local reputation and a consistent 4-week waiting list. With our new reception hub at Birdham Pool Marina and our Littlehampton facility, we’re looking for an experienced tech who can run faults start to finish—proper diagnosis, not just parts swapping.
What you’ll be doing
- Advanced diagnostics, servicing & repairs on inboard diesel, inboard petrol, large outboards & stern drives
- Troubleshooting basic–intermediate electrical faults alongside mechanical issues
- Jet Ski / PWC servicing & repairs (experience a bonus — training provided if needed)
- Logging jobs properly using our custom CRM + digital diagnostic software
- Keeping workmanship premium to protect the reputation we’ve built
What we’re looking for
- Proven hands-on experience across a broad mix of marine engines
- Strong diagnostic mindset (logical, systematic fault-finding)
- Own comprehensive everyday hand tools
- Full UK driving licence (you’ll move between Birdham Pool + Littlehampton)
