We have had this lovely Range Rover sport in this week from a local customer.

It was in for a leaking arc bar which was also filled with the wrong fluid. So new bar fitted and the system flushed and filter replaced. Correct fluid in and bleed and now back to the customer.

We have had this 110 td5 defender from London in for a couple jobs.

It had new engine mounts both sides.

Tank cleaned after finding sludge had blocked the pump and caused it to burn out and die. New pump fitted rest of the fuel system cleaned a new filters and was back up and running.

We had a surprise repair this week with this discovery 3 which wasn’t booked in.

The customer turned up to collect parts and as he pulled up the front brake was about to set on fire.

Less than an hour later and the customer was back in the road with a replacement calliper.

We have had a discovery 2 in this week to be converted from seats in the back to a nice set of boxes.

We also had to fix a coolant leak which was a worn top hose.

Now back with the customer and running as it should be.

We have had a Freelander one in this week for a few jobs after the customer recently brought it.

It had a very badly made straight through exhaust which was removed and an original exhaust was refitted.

It also need Propshaft carriers and front prop due to a badly worn joint.

We also did a quick service and a rub down and paint of the rear subframe as was advised on the mot.

We had a 2014 defender 110 puma in this week for a few jobs.

We replaced injectors seals and glow plugs and idler pulleys.

Abs was coming on all the time which was down to some one cutting off the locating tabs on the column when fitting a new steering wheel. New stalk set with tabs on it and back to working as it should.

Seized hand brake cable replaced and back working as it should.

Front differential seal was leaking so that was replaced and refilled.

Alarm issues down to a bad battery.

We had had a lovely little series 2A in for some work the last couple weeks.

We have had the exhaust to replace along with the brackets as they were not helping support the exhaust.

Both Propshafts had a lot of play in the shafts and ujs so both were replaced.

We also did brand new brakes all round with cylinders, shoes, pipes and drums as they where leaking and three where stuck on.

Door tops where replaced due to them being so rotten that they had started to fall off. New pair on and back to being watertight and secure.

The engine also had some love with a new carburettor, coil, spark plugs, water pipes, fresh fuel and coolant flush.

We have had this lovely discovery 2 in for a few jobs this week.

It has had rebuilt rear diff as the last one had eaten it self and was not long before there was going to be a bigger issue.
We also fitted new front wheel bearing and rear air bag.
There was also an issue with the electrics misbehaving and was tracked done to a bad earth which had been dislodged when the battery had exploded.

Been a very busy start to the year with a lot going on.

We have had a defender that was recovered due to not starting. Which turned out to be the threads on the pressure regulator wouldn’t hold the fitting. So we replaced pipe and regulator to be safe.

To start the year off we have delivered a customer back their discovery 4.

We had this one in for split inlet manifold, fuel filter housing replacement and drivers side egr pipe replacement.

We upgraded the manifold to the metal version so they should now out live the rest of the discovery.
