We’ve just added a new tool for BEV and PHEV owners! As more come through our doors for servicing it feels only right that we should offer a report on your High Voltage Battery. 🔋🪫Although manufacturers have some features which provide SoH(State of Health) we have found that this can be at times inaccurate.

Thats where the team at Aviloo Battery Diagnostics come in! They have came up with an independent and accurate analysis complete with reports through either a Flash Test or for more in depth analysis through Premium Tests.

Why would you need this? As more people opt for EV’s many are buying 2nd hand with little or no knowledge of how healthy the battery within the car actually is. Even some cars still under warranty are not being provided a battery analysis report from the dealer, so catch any abnormal degradation before it becomes a problem outside of the warranty period. If your a Car Trader or Dealer a report would provide piece of mind to your potential buyers.

Hi folks 👋🏻 We thought we would share a few jobs we completed over the last few weeks. A lovely Skoda Fabia VRS in for a DSG clutch supplied from NetworkAuto Store, replacement carried out to spec with correct tooling and adaptive drive also carried out.
A Ford Puma in for a first service to maintain full warranty with genuine parts used and Castrol oil, service actions completed and digital service history updated
Gearbox flush completed on BMW 640d with a ZF sump/filter kit (notice the oil colour 🙈)
Major service carried out on M2 Competition with all genuine parts used and Castrol oil and Idrive updated with digital service info.
Mazda in for a decoke due to carbon build up with the induction manifold blocking inlet valves and EGR.

We eventually got the Range Rover Sport Hybrid fixed. 🤩🤩We’ve had our share of EV and Hybrid servicing and repairs but this one was a baptism of fire into live High Voltage⚡️testing of the battery in order to correctly diagnose a hybrid system fault. As we are Level 4 EV and Hybrid certified by IMI it was time put to the test everything we had learnt. After diagnosis with help from HEVRA we conclude that the supervisor circuit boards were at fault which are not available seperately from RR, only a complete battery at £17,000+. Obviously this wasn’t a feasible option so again Hevra helped us source a professional repairer of these boards…from Greece🛬. After a few weeks turnaround we rebuilt the battery components and with a HUGE sigh of relief we had a successful fix at the fraction of the battery cost. A special thanks to Pete Melville from HEVRA! 🚗🚗

Hi guys, we have been a little quiet on social media but we have been very busy. A gentle reminder for our loyal customers is that we are booking approximately 3/4 weeks in advance so if you have an upcoming MOT or Service please book ahead. So what have we been up to? Well we’ve had plenty of interest in our gearbox flushing and have carried out this with great success on numerous brands inc: Ford, Vauxhall, Audi, Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes.

Aircon season is also now on upon us even though we’ve done quite a few since Christmas. Please get ahead if your A/C isn’t working. Many people leave it until they’re roasted before fixing, by which time everyone else has the same idea and we can only handle so many. We’re also awaiting delivery of our new R1234yf machine within a few weeks for all newer makes and models. Any cars that come to us with little or no gas will need a nitrogen pressure leak test to confirm there are no leaks prior to gassing as theres no point gassing something with a leak.
