2020 Tiguan 1.5 Turbo stainless exhaust finished up today ✅️

Bit of repair work finished up on the Widetrack Impreza STi ✅️

It came to me a couple of years ago needing the work and I didn't want to entertain it for my own sanity, so it was parked up until the owner wore me down enough to take it on 😂

- Inner strengthening panels cleaned back, treated and primed.
- New outer sills from Classiccarparts.ie fitted.
- Inner sills repaired in a few spots.

Inner arches were obviously in a bad way from years of daily use through the winter, especially around the fuel filler neck.

- New inner arches made
- Fuel filler neck area repaired
- New fuel filler pipe fitted
- Outer arches from classiccarparts.ie installed
- Back panel repaired & new bumper support bar fitted

Everything was then completely filled with cavity wax internally and I stonechipped the inner arches to give it some protection inside and out.

Now it'll never be a brand new Impreza again, but it did put a bit of driving back into the car for the owner as he has had it a very long time. Hopefully it doesn't see the winter roads anymore 👀

A few repairs carried out on this awesome midnight purple S15 😍

The outer arches were starting to bubble and with the paint removed you could see it was spreading around the lip & where it had been rolled up for clearance on the wider wheels.

Removed the outer panel, cut away the inside lip & repaired it back to oem. Made new outer arches and spot welded them to the outer edge of the inner arch. I could then trim the lip back to about 5mm, almost the same diameter as if it was rolled to still have good clearance, so keeping the strength in the arch lip but without trapping any road dirt.

Repaired a small section on the door skin & two small chassis leg/sill repairs. Filled the arches with epoxy primer & then cavity wax so the owner can return to enjoying it as a daily.

Another E46 M3 but same story again, both inner arches full of fibreglass and sealer hiding some pretty bad rot & a bump...

Another E46 M3 but same story again, both inner arches full of fibreglass and sealer hiding some pretty bad rot & a bump on the rear corner. 🙈

Only one way to sort it, cut away all the crap beyond the rust and start again. New inner arches made up of steel this time, primed and then fitted with new outer panels, and a few small repairs carried out in other areas.

All inner skins & welds painted after, then cavity waxed to protect them rusting from the inside out in years to come.

Ep3 with some nasty repairs finished up this week ✅️

Lower quarter panels sections replaced.
Inner arch lips repaired & new outer arch panels fitted.
Also replaced the lower inner arch sections which were made up of a few bits stuck together.

Primed, undersealed & cavity waxed. Tidied up & off for paint 👍

This isn't something you'll see every day - 1989 Mitsubishi Galant VR4 sitting on BC coilovers & Rays TE37's 🔰

Always cool to have something different through the door, and this one is right up there with the Familia Sedan I done recently for rarity.

Finished up with a 3" turbo back exhaust, as its now away off to get mapped on a Link ECU. The customer wanted a 3" sharp twin-tip, no j*p can on this one for a change. Fairly changed the sound of the car as I couldn't even hear it pulling up, it made a nice note leaving though 👌

Finished up the 2jz turbo kit 2 years ago, before Bradley Motorworks sent it to over 600hp 💥

Few repairs finished up on a customers' Bora yesterday.

These arent a car I'd usually want to take on but it brought a bit of life back into it and let him push on with building it back up to a good car again.

- Inner arches repaired & new outer arches installed.
- Inner sill & floorpan repairs carried out as they had been stoved up in.
- The inner panel cut & built back up to keep everything straight again.
- Outer sills primed & replaced.

Cavity wax pumped into the arches & sills after to protect the new panels.

Donnington Grey X5M + V8 twin turbo = Perfection 👌

All it needed was a bit of sound released as the stock setup is very quiet. After speaking with the owner we decided to ditch the two secondary cats & middle resonator in favour of a 3" x-pipe.

The difference it made was night & day, still a pretty modest sound for day to day driving but with the foot down you now know what you're driving. A very happy customer leaving yesterday 🤝

Great weekend of racing at Race Wars 26 🏁 A well organised event that ran smooth with plenty of action & some serious machines on display - cars, bikes & buggys.

Managed to run a 12.2 on Sunday which was as good as it got over the weekend, Saturday was all-spinning, all-limiter and not going anywhere fast 😂 Some proper tyres on Sunday made all the difference.

Shootout to Richard Bradley for setting the car up and Gavin at Blackline Performance for squeezing us in for alignment beforehand.
