Exceptional company. I've predominantly dealt with Neil who is fantastic, but everyone I've met there has been very friendly and helpful. The team is massively knowledgeable (no doubt enhanced with their motorsport experience), and very reasonable price wise, which is surprising considering what's on offer. Often you pay through the nose to get someone good, and when you do it turns out it's not the case at all! Cooper Barnes replaced a clutch in my partner's car recently, all done quickly and efficiently and at a great price, and when I asked for them to change the gearbox oil whilst everything was in pieces (its a big job on her car), expecting a significant extra charge, they added a small nominal fee to cover the extra work. More recently they did a health check on my Daughter's car prior to her starting a very long commute each week, again done quickly and at less than they quoted as it didn't take as long as they thought, and lastly the service on her car last week, again all completed to a very high standard, and less than we have paid previously. All my family's cars will be looked after by them going forwards as its just been an amazing experience. As someone with a professional motorsport and healthcare background spanning many decades, accuracy, precision, attention to detail, and most importantly INTEGRITY are my core values. These guys have them in droves. As a full-on car nut my whole life, and having had some really bad experiences with cowboys in the past, I cannot emphasise enough the relief it has been to find Cooper Barnes (recommended by another exceptional company Amazing Graphics in Haverhill), and know that the family's cars are in very safe hands. Lastly, if you are a female reading this, then you can rest assured if you go to them you will be treated respectfully and given honest advice you can trust. On a personal rant - the biggest irritation to me over many years is female family members and friends who have gone to a garage (often a main dealer - I won't mention any names!) for something minor, only to come away with four new tyres, an exhaust, and all sorts of other things they didn't need, and not to mention a huge bill. It is so refreshing to encounter the exact opposite of that for a change. One word review - INTEGRITY. Do yourself a favour and go see them!
