Well what a great start to the race season in the Silverlake C1 racing Club endurance series around the silverstone Grand Prix circuit. We’ve never raced at Silverstone before so we were not expecting to be on the pace but after qualifying it turned out we were not that far off.
Qualified 9th out of 61 cars and some big names in British motorsport also entered,We dropped a few places at the start but when Harry got his eye in he banged in some blistering times and started to make his way back through the field and after pit stops we had a good lead until it was my turn to drive and we we slowly went backwards 😆 so after my short stint it was up to Matt to take over and try and recover some sort of result for the team
Matt was on it like a car bonnet.
Matt and Harry drove very well to get us a great result finishing 8th overall after a 4hour’s and 3 pit stop race.
Thanks to everyone that helped out with the weekend and to get us there.
