Nowadays everyone wants crazy money for tuning, rolling roads etc and often people have no idea whats really actually happened when it comes to carb tuning, they just hope a few turns of the idle screws will fix everything.
I genuinely love a holley carb be it a doubler or a vacuum secondary. I have learnt a lot over the years from our American cousins who tawk lark thayt when it comes to tuning. I love the comments I get at the racetrack and the recoils in horror that Ive butchered my car and stuck a toilet bowl on top of it like why didnt I just stick with EFI?
My aim is not to fix anyones car but to help YOU fix your car if you're running (or cant get running) a holley. So feel free to msg me with some basic info, engine, cruiser, abuser, type of carb, ignition system etc. Note also a wideband 02 is very useful but not essential.
I also if need be dont mind travelling, hopefully see some cool cars (lincolnshire/south yorks) for b**r money.

I have spares, jets, accelerator pumps, and ofcourse tools like a vacuum gauge, timing gun and my trustee screwdriver
To make 1 thing clear I am not touching any ones car. This kind of thing can result in fires and all sorts of responsibilities I dont need. So for example if you arent running a return line, or a pressure regulator or theres just some dodgy plastic filter touching the exhaust, you fix it I will only take an advisory pointy role.
My number 1 advice tip is firstly get your timing (both initial and total) right.
I run a 95 Lt1 firebird 6spd on the track on a holley 600 vac secondary, and I run an 85 monte carlo big block with a lumpy cam on an 850 double pumper purely in a straight line.
I'm a 1985 child so whilst I'm not a total newbie I'm sure I've still got a lot to learn from some wiser old schoolers out there. Always learning rubber burning
