The Škoda F3 Type 992 made its debut in 1964, combining technology from the groundbreaking Škoda 1000 MB with lightweight engineering to create one of the most competitive Formula 3 cars of its era.

Powered by a 1.0-litre rear-mounted engine producing up to 90hp, weighing just 420kg and capable of 210 km/h, the F3 helped Jaroslav Bobek secure the 1966 Czechoslovak Formula 3 Championship before Miroslav Fousek claimed the 1968 Formula 3 title for Communist countries.
