2018 Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 presented to us with a P0171 fault code stored and engine warning light illuminated.

We carried out a road test whilst monitoring live data and suspected an air leak.

We then proceeded to carry out a smoke test which showed no visible signs of a leak but the pressure on the machine was low and flow rate high.

Further testing proved that the EVAP valve was stuck open causing the lean condition so a new valve was sourced and fitted with an extended road test carried out to ensure the car was fixed and as you can see from the fuel trims @ 0 it is.

Our diagnostic assessment is £90 including VAT which as you can see is value for money as we carry out actual testing of systems and no guess work.

Cars and vans that have an MOT test expiry after March 30th will now get a 6 month extension. Vehicles that expire before this date will have to get an MOT test pass to be legal.
