Last week we welcomed Stanley and his friends to Gridline Racing to celebrate his birthday with their very own Mini Grand Prix — and they gave us a cracking race event!

After qualifying and multiple races, Jake Barrett came out on top with 73 points, but birthday boy Stanley Dunn pushed him all the way, finishing just 2 points behind to take a brilliant P2 overall. 🥈

Stanley made sure he walked away with some extra birthday bragging rights too, setting the fastest lap of the entire event with a 34.825! ⚡🔥

Plenty of wheel-to-wheel action, close racing and competition throughout the field — exactly what our Mini Grand Prix is all about.

🏁 ELITE SUPERPOLE – THIS WEEK’S REVIEW 🏁

A relative new kid on the block, Conor Kingdon, sent out a pretty clear message on Tuesday night… he’s here to stay! 🔥

Conor topped a field of 34 Elite Superpole drivers with a brilliant 32.120, setting a new PB and taking P1 overall for the night. He’s quickly establishing himself amongst the quickest drivers we have at Gridline Racing.

Jon Evans once again came out on top of the 40–59 category, setting a 32.508 — remarkably close to the 32.491 he recorded at last Tuesday’s Superpole. That kind of consistency at this level is seriously impressive. 👏

Another standout performance came from Abi Worrell, who clocked a new PB of 32.881. 🔥 That result further strengthens her position at the top of the August Female leaderboard, where she currently leads a field of 258 female drivers who have taken on the circuit this month.

Other category leaders on the night included Ian Wray, quickest of the Over 60s with a 32.480, and James Peers, who topped the Under 17s with a 32.512.

What was particularly interesting this week was the overall pace of the field. Despite some extremely competitive times, a large proportion of the drivers were around four or five tenths away from their existing PBs.

That might not sound like much… but when you’re chasing lap times in the low 32s, half a second is enormous! 😳

It just shows how much track conditions, traffic, kart positioning and putting together that one perfect lap can make the difference.

Another cracking Elite Superpole with just 0.701 seconds covering P1 to P17! ⚡

Well done to all 34 drivers — and congratulations to those who managed to find a new PB.

Next Tuesday… we go again. 🏎️💨

Our latest circuit went live on 3rd July 2026 and since then a massive 3,402 drivers have set a lap around it…

But only 100 can say they’re currently part of the GRIDLINE RACING TOP 100! 🏆

⚡ The benchmark?
P100 currently belongs to Katie Ratcliffe with a 33.629 second lap.

That means right now you need to go SUB-33.629 to force your way onto the board! 👀

And at the very top?

🥇 Emerson Wilson — 31.861
🥈 Ian Wray — 32.052
🥉 Craig Blades — 32.115

Just 1.768 seconds separates P1 from P100. 😳

That might not sound much… but anyone chasing lap times knows just how difficult finding those final tenths can be!

These four leaderboards show the 100 fastest drivers from all 3,402 people to have tackled our latest circuit so far.

Here they are… the current Top 20 Championship standings across all SIX categories! 👀🔥

And remember — you don’t have to sign up or enter a special championship event to take part.

👉 EVERYONE IS AUTOMATICALLY ENTERED!

Every time you come karting at Gridline Racing and set a lap time, that lap counts towards your category leaderboard.

At the end of each month, you simply need to finish inside the TOP 20 fastest drivers in your category to score Championship points:

🥇 1st = 20 points
🥈 2nd = 19 points
🥉 3rd = 18 points
⬇️ right down to…
🏁 20th = 1 point

Those points are added to your running total throughout 2026, meaning consistency matters!

Our six Championship categories are:

🏎️ Cadets – 8-13yrs
🏎️ Under 17yrs
🏎️ 17-39yrs
🏎️ 40-59yrs
🏎️ Over 60yrs
🏎️ Female

So you could literally book an ordinary karting session, put together a quick lap and suddenly find yourself scoring points towards the 2026 Gridline Racing Drivers’ Championship. 🏆
