This afternoon, it was Bethan’s turn to face the examiners in Preston and it was a smooth drive to secure her licence, with just one minor driving fault! An excellent achievement!

What can we say about Bethan?

Commitment… Once couldn’t find the key to her house, so climbed out of a window to come to a lesson.

Quality of Driving? Once got her parallel park endorsed by an elderly lady who rushed out of her house to tell her that her “military driver son couldn’t match the quality of that parallel park she just completed”

Determination?
Refused to leave a housing estate until tricked into it on her 6th lesson. Doubted herself on a number of occasions, but never gave up and retained a smile on her face!

It’s been an absolute joy getting Bethan on the road! Congratulations once again!

Safe driving!

Massive congratulations to Melissa who aced her test this morning in Chorley!

The charismatic carer nursed the car around the test route, showing control and patience.

She’s already got a car in her sights and was rather keen to get in purchased today so that she could end the misery of cycling to work, especially as the winter months arrived!

Well done once again, Melissa, see you on the road!

Another first-time pass to the collection!

This time it was Antoni who took the plaudits of the Chorley Examiner for a tremendous drive!

The prospective civil engineer officially laid the perfect foundation for absolute freedom, successfully bridging the gap between student and licensed driver.

He’ll be missed on driving lessons, not only as he’s a sound guy, but m̶a̶i̶n̶l̶y̶ also as he lives round the corner! 😂

Hearty congratulations, Antoni. See you on the road! Drive especially slow past my house… I’ll be watching!!

Huge congratulations to Dani who aced her test this morning!

The Speech and Language Therapist to be took to the streets of Preston to secure her licence and did so in style, first time and with barely a fault.

Dani articulated the examiner’s instructions, demonstrating clear understanding of the road and made it clear she was ready to be on the road!

Congratulations once again, Dani… see you on the road and all the best with your studies!

Just the two tests today and both passers are camera shy! 🤣

First up today was the student of law, Eleanor who nailed a first-time pass in Chorley, impressing the examiner with her assured driving and passing with ease.

A couple of lessons in the middle, then Jodie stepped up for her test, passing with just two driving faults and boring the examiner senseless with her conversation about cats. 😜. An undoubtedly great drive! The Sunday gossip void will take some filling, Jodie!

Congratulations to both, it’s been a pleasure getting you on the road!

Another early start with another exceptional drive!

This time it was Saskia’s turn to secure a licence at the first time of asking. The English National gymnastics champion delivered under pressure, vaulting over every challenge the examiner could present, finishing with a beam-ing smile. Just one fault too from the judges - a fantastic drive!

Massive congratulations to you Saskia, may your mum be forever free from having to drive you to training!

See you on the road!

The wonderful news continues!

This morning it was mathematical genius and Starbucks Barista Queen, Isabel who glided through her test in Chorley.

Following on from last week’s ‘manifestation pug’, we had two black cats cross our path in the moments before arriving at the test centre. Double good luck you would think? Well Isabel has spent most of her life in the States, where that’s a bad omen.

However the first-time pass proved that British superstitions are better than American ones. So with that, I’ll finish by reminding Isabel that it’s a windscreen, not a windshield and it’s a bonnet, not a hood! 👌

Massive congratulations once again, see you on the road!

Fault-free Freya!

What a fabulous start to the day! It was another early start, but this one was never in doubt..

The nursery practitioner found the streets of Chorley considerably less of a challenge than the 26 children she was about to face as part of her shift.

Whilst the preschoolers may not be impressed with tales of Freya’s driving test, I think it’s the perfect day to get the trikes out and she can get them started early on their observations and road craft!

Congratulations again and I’ll see you in the road soon!

Whilst not being a superstitious person myself, I do love quirky things that people do to bring confidence/luck.

Those that have had a test with The Driving Force School of Motoring will know that ‘Lucky Lando’ the keyring always gets a tickle before a test to bring luck - with remarkable results!

Today’s first-time pass for Andrea can only partly be attributed to ‘Lucky Lando’ however, as Louie the manifestation pug got involved…

The popular workplace dog is given a biscuit and sits on the post it note until it comes true. Then he gets another biscuit when his hard work is done.

So massive congratulations to Lando, Louie and I suppose some credit to Andrea who nailed her test at the first attempt, with barely a fault!

See you on the road!

With the shortage of driving tests, test days seem to be becoming further and further apart. So it’s even nicer when you do have a test, and it’s a pass!

Step forward Emmie, who absolutely nailed her first attempt at a test this morning in Chorley, picking up just one driving fault - an amazing drive!

With her and her partner soon to become home owners for the first time, this pass was very much needed to enable her to get to work and to her new home, as well as being another tick on the adulting checklist!

Massive congratulations to her, it’s well deserved! All the best with the house move!

With Emmie passing, we have a space available for learning with us. Get in touch for further information. thedrivingforce.uk
