Some cars become part of the furniture here 👌

This one turned into more than just an engine light ⚠️

Vauxhall Corsa came in with EML on and poor running. Initial diagnostics pointed us towards an intake camshaft issue 🔍

Stripped it down and found the intake cam pulley was at fault. Carried out timing chain and pulley replacement to get everything back where it should be 🔧

While we were in there, we found clear evidence of head gasket failure… so that got sorted properly too.

Rebuilt, retimed, and back together the right way ✅

Another good example of why you don’t ignore an engine light. What looks like a simple fault can quickly turn into something bigger.

Another classic saved and back on the road 🚗

This 1997 Rover 100 Metro came to us after another garage was unable to repair it or source parts. The hydrolastic suspension had collapsed, causing the car to bottom out, split the oil sump and crush the exhaust.

We recovered the vehicle, borrowed a hydrolastic pump from our friends (huge thanks!), re pressurised the suspension, sourced and fitted a new sump, carried out an oil and filter service, and installed a new exhaust.

Customer left extremely happy and the Metro is driving better than ever.

A35 AMG in today for a fresh set of aftermarket wheels.

The standard 19 inch alloys on these are well known for cracking, especially with the current road conditions and potholes, and this customer had two crack recently, so they decided to upgrade for peace of mind.

We transferred the TPMS sensors, fitted new valves, swapped the tyres, balanced everything and got them installed ready to go. Clean finish and a much stronger setup for everyday driving.

Proud moment at Flomar Garage & Flo Tyres today.

We fitted winter tyres to three ambulances heading out to support humanitarian work in Ukraine through Vehicles 4 Ukraine. One set donated, the rest supplied and fitted at cost.

Range Rover Evoque Diagnostics and Repair

This Range Rover Evoque came in with a two wheel drive only warning and no terrain response available displayed on the dash ⚠️

Our diagnostics confirmed faults relating to the rear differential, which were narrowed down to a failed Haldex pump. After checking the wiring and removing the pump, we found excessive internal buildup, which had led to failure, most likely due to a lack of regular servicing.

The faulty pump was replaced along with a new filter and fresh oil, and new prop bolts were fitted. The system was then coded and fully tested, restoring full four wheel drive operation. All faults cleared and everything now working exactly as it should.
