Cobnash Studio is based in the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire, just 3 miles away from the bustling market town of Leominster. Established in 1975, the studio expanded in 2003 with the addition of a second live room, and a complete overhaul of the control room in 2011. At Cobnash we offer artists, the very best in modern digital and vintage analogue recording. The studio is based around our

classic DDA AMR 24 track console, providing oodles of warm analogue front end, perfect for todays digital recording era. We have a brand spanking new Apple MacPro QuadCore, holding up the digital end of things, packed with over 500 top plugins, synths and banks of samples. Or if you're after that truly vintage sound why not record directly to one of our 2 classic, vintage tape machines? Our ethos here at Cobnash Studios is to combine the best elements of modern digital recording with the colour and character of classic analogue gear. Throughout its 36 year history Cobnash Studio has collected some of the very best industry standard microphones and studio outboard, including, Urie 1176 compressors, Neumann Microphones, Drawmer Compressors, expanders and Gates, Eventide Harmonizers, and units from TLA Audio, including a very rare and sought after 8 channel all valve sidecar console, perfect for adding rock n roll punch to your recording. Our redesigned and refurbished 360sq ft control room, has natural light and some of the best acoustics to be found anywhere in the United Kingdom. Monitoring is taken care of by our KRK 9000B's, Tannoy Berkeley's, and nearfield monitoring by the industry standard, Yamaha NS10. There's a reason why almost every hit record of the last 20 years has been mixed on them, we couldn't live without them. In fact we love ours so much that we own a second pair, just incase!
