We’ve got fuel! It’s nice for prices to be going in the right direction.

As we go down, the wholesale market is going up, which is fairly typical, but we’re taking each day as it comes. We’re not tracking as tight to the market as we have previously - so we could be a little cheaper than we are - but we’re putting this additional margin at moments like this into smoothing out spikes when the market isn’t working in the right direction.

Pump 3 still no diesel. Work is afoot in a lasting solution to this which is tearing the lot out and starting again.

DAY OF HASSLE:

Please don’t travel to us for diesel, we’re trading above usual volumes and will likely need to stop dispensing before close.

The price is also going down quite tidy with our resupply tomorrow too. But it’s a secret, tell nobody.

Hi folks,

We’ve an engineer on site replacing the hose retraction mechanisms on our pumps.

This is an unexpected visit and each pump needs to be closed off as the work is done.

We are truly terrible to visit.

We will remain so for the next several hours and we’re very sorry. If you can put off a visit until later, we would strongly recommend you do so and we will update here when we’re back to normal service.

(Pump 3 still has no diesel because although the problem is quite straight forward, the fixing it isn’t, such is our lot.)

Happy Bank Holiday Sunday everyone. Please do not travel to us for diesel today we will have to stop dispensing at short notice.

Unleaded stocks are good at the moment.

Another tanker is due tomorrow mid morning.

Apologies for the trouble.

On a brighter note, we have just taken delivery of a significant quantity of Local Moorcourt Strawberries 🍓🍓

Moorcourt strawberries just landed here at the shenanigan factory.

We will be spending the rest of the day eating strawberries, no further work will be done.

It’s just gone half past five, please do not travel to us for diesel as stocks are looking a little tight and we may need to stop dispensing at short notice.

We’re really sorry about this, stocks of unleaded are ok. We have a tanker absolutely rammo full of diesel planned in for tomorrow and should be back in tip top diesel dispensing form soon.

Dave absolutely intolerable with joy this morning following the large scale opposition to my ill advised opinion on the colour of our bananas.

Our fuel tanker has been and gone and both grades are now available. We're doing everything we physically and reasonably can short of literal murder to avoid this situation occuring again in the very near term. If you do hear screaming and gnashing of the teeth, that's just part of that.

In shop news, you may know a refit is coming, that's still in the works because this place makes the DWP look like a straight forward factory of simplicity. But we are de-badging from SPAR and going our own way with products and suppliers for the time being. There will be changes in product lines, we think mostly for the best, but as always, let us know what you're thinking.
