COVID-19 Update.
We have taken the decision to close Mann Motors from this Friday 27th March for a period of 2 weeks, we plan at the moment to re-open on Tuesday 14th April.
It hasn’t been an easy decision but seeing what is happening else where in the world that are ahead of us we now feel the risk to our staff and customers is just to high, we will be operating an emergency service through normal working hours, this service is for key workers that need to be on the road and have a vital issue with their vehicle that unless resolved will stop them being able to do their job, if you are a key worker and you have issues please call 07495 962728. A member of the team will come down to the premises and look at your vehicle and do the very best possible to get you mobile again, I must stress this is for emergency work only.
MOT testing:
Many of you may have seen that MOT expiry dates have been extended by six months for vehicles depending on when you MOT is due. Please don’t leave your MOT the full six months for many reasons, the first being if everyone leaves it the maximum time MOT stations will not be able to cope with six months worth of work and you will be left with long waits to get yours done and possibly no car for a while. The other side is in Leighton Buzzard we have many family owned small independent garages like ourselves, we rely on this income to pay our staff wages, if this stops for six months the outcome will be many of your friendly helpful local garages closing down. Please try and keep things as close to normal when things start to return that way, as always buy local and support you local businesses.
