The Elroq SUV gets a battery revision for 2026 as per the below:

60 - the 58 kWh lithium-ion battery will offer 0 – 62 times of 8.5 seconds, 99 mph top speeds and 140kW (or 188 hp). This model is a RWD option. Expect a combined winter range of 180 miles with warmer weather allowing for 245 miles – 210 miles combined. On charging, the 11 kW AC max will allow 6 hour and 15 minute 0 – 100% charging times with the 105 kW DC maximum allowing 28 minute 10 – 80% times. This has a cargo volume of 470L and vehicle fuel equivalent of 146 mpg. Towing capacities are 750kg (unbraked) and 1000kg (braked). The heat pump is available but is an additional option. Bidirectional charging has been announced with the exterior Type 2 outlet and interior UK socket able to deliver 3.6kW AC;

The Model Y gets a big update!

The Tesla Model Y Premium RWD will now be the “Tesla 4680” model. This refers to the 4680 cylindrical battery cells. This method is about improving energy density and reducing the production costs. The vehicle previously used the Panasonic 2170 cells but this is being presented a more functional approach to production. While there is a mix of opinion on the pros v cons for the updated 4680 cell approach on the Model Y, this has been confirmed across all of UK and Europe. As such drivers needs to be aware of the adjusted battery format, range and charging which we have set out below:

Juniper Premium RWD 4680 - with a usable battery of 74 kWh this RWD SUV offers 220kW (295hp), top speeds of 125mph and 0-62 times of 5.6 seconds. Real-world ranges suggest a combined 240 miles in colder weather with warmer temperatures to allow for 335 miles (on a full charge) - 290 miles combined . The 11kW AC allows for 0-100% charging times of 8 hours with the 250kW DC enabling 10-80% in 36 minutes. The Model Y has no confirmed Bidirectional charging.
