The Lexus UK Lexus PR bring the ES Saloon Electric Car Lease to market.

You can choose between the following key options:

ES 350e Premium – from £59,345 this includes 19 or 21” alloys, 14” Lexus multimedia screen, 12.3” combi-meter, radiant heater for driver and passenger, panoramic roof, heated/ventilated driver and passenger seats, Lexus safety systems plus, LED lights, Climate Concierge, auto-dimming rear view mirror, electric roof blond, 8-way electrically operated seats, easy entry and exit function, humidity sensor, smart key, parking assist, 10-speaekr premium audio, wireless door lock, privacy glass, acoustic glass, electrically heated and folding door mirrors and UV/heat insulting glass;

ES 350e Premium Plus – from £68,845 this adds the Mark Levison speak sound system (17 speakers), 2 wireless charging pads, HUD, semi-aniline material and the Bamboo interior door trim; and

ES 350e Takumi – from £72,545 this adds 21” alloys, Ottoman seat for the rear passenger, 10-way passenger seat with memory, rear heated and ventilated seats, rear door and back glass with sunshade and the digital rear armrest with box control.

The key colours include the Nova White, Graphite Black, Sonic Grey, Sonic Platinum, Sonic Copper and Glacier Blue. Some of the key packs and additional options include the boot liner, runner floor mats and cargo nets.

How does the Lexus ES Saloon perform? There will be 1 battery option (so far):

350e - This will have a 72 kWh usable battery which will offer 0 – 62 times of 8.0 seconds, 99 mph top speeds and 165kW (or 221hp). Expect a combined winter range of 205 miles with warmer weather allowing for 275 miles - a combined 240 miles. On charging, the 11 kW AC max will allow 4 hour 0 – 100% charging times with the 150 kW DC maximum allowing 30 minute 10 – 80% times. A cargo volume of 517L is available with this car. It has a vehicle fuel equivalent of 135 mpg. This EV will not have Bidirectional charging. The car will not be able to tow. The heat pump is a standard option with this car.

But how does this Macan EV perform?

4S Electric - with a usable battery of 94.9 kWh this AWD SUV offers 380kW (510hp), top speeds of 149 mph and 0-62 times of 4.1 seconds. Real-world ranges suggest a combined 245 miles in colder weather with warmer temperatures to allow for 330 miles (on a full charge) – combined range 290 miles. The 11kW AC allows for 0-100% charging times of 10 hour and 15 minutes with the 269kW DC enabling 10-80% in 23 minutes. The Macan has no Bidirectional charging. It has a 124 mpg equivalent, 540L cargo volume and offers towing capacities of 750kg (unbraked) and 2500kg (braked). The heat pump is standard.

The CUPRA CUPRA UK Raval VZ is a true hot hatch! The brand are almost certainly bringing character and desirability into the small electric car segment.

The 11kW AC allows for 0-100% charging times of 5 hours and 45 minutes with the 105kW DC enabling 10-80% in 24 minutes. This Raval EV has Bidirectional charging – V2L with an exterior Type 2 exterior outlet. It has a 149-mpg equivalent and 441L cargo volume. The car can tow 750kg (Unbraked) and 1200kg (Braked). The heat pump is available but as an additional option.
