We've been looking after JLR vehicles for over 25 years, and the same issues come through when it comes to air suspension time and time again (and if we’re honest, most could have been avoided).

Air suspension on Land Rover and Range Rover models is one of the most common faults we see. The system is complex, it works hard, and when it starts to go, most owners ignore the early signs. A slightly uneven ride, a corner sitting lower than the others, a longer levelling time than usual, these are the warnings!

The question is have you been listening?

Here's what to look out for.

Warning lights: engine, oil pressure, suspension, transmission.

If a light is on, something is wrong.

Every day you leave it, it gets more expensive.

Unusual sounds: knocking from the engine, grinding when braking, clunking over bumps, whining from the gearbox. These are your vehicles asking for help before something breaks.

Performance changes: loss of power, increased fuel consumption, pulling to one side, running hotter than usual.
