VW Touareg V6 TDI injector clamp bolt snapped. High pressure pipe bent. We managed to remove the broken bolt clean injector seat and install a new oe quality Bosch injector with a new genuine bolt and pipe. Getting this customer's car on the road.

We got a call from a new customer last week who heavily relies on his car having trouble with his reverse lights not working.

So we went out to do some diagnostics and found that the reverse light switch had been overtightened and snapped. Leaving a hole for all the gear oil to escape.
On further inspection we also found two bolts missing from the gearbox to the engine block! And another bolt missing from the lower engine mount. But wait it gets better we then found the drivers side driveshaft center support not even attached. Allowing the driveshaft to move in and out of the gearbox. It's a miracle that it didn't fall out all together! Leaving this customer stranded at the side of the road.

Luckily we had everything it needed on the van to make sure his car was safe to drive.

Just a couple of jobs that I remembered to take pictures of over the last few weeks. First one ford ranger another one for lack of power and your management light on fault code stored for turbocharger under boost quickly diagnosed the fault as split in the intercooler very common on these ford rangers.

Next was a VW amarok in for MOT service and EML on quickly diagnosed DPF ash content over the manufacturers specified limit the cause of the fault was down to a faulty cylinder pressure sensor that sits on top of one of the glow plugs, new glow plug fitted DPF removed, cleaned and refitted with a full service and back on the road.
