๐ง TWO COMMERCIAL VEHICLE MECHANICS ๐ง
Due to continued growth and the award of new contracts, we are expanding our commercial workshop team and looking for two experienced Commercial Vehicle Mechanics/Technicians to join Ausden Clark.
๐ Location: Leicester, LE3 1UW
Based in our own fully equipped workshop, youโll work across a varied range of vehicles. Alongside maintaining our own fleet of more than 50 coaches, our workshop supports numerous external fleets across the transport industry, including:
* Coaches and buses
* DAF, Scania and Mercedes commercial vehicles
* Skip lorries and other HGVs
* Local bus-service fleets
* Council vans and light commercial vehicles
The work will include scheduled servicing, safety inspections, diagnostics, defect rectification, electrical and mechanical repairs, preparation for MOT and responding to breakdowns when required.
What weโre looking for:
* Experience maintaining commercial vehicles, HGVs, PSVs or buses
* Ideally qualified to Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or possessing equivalent qualifications and substantial industry experience
* Strong diagnostic, mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities
* Ability to complete inspections, job cards and maintenance documentation accurately
* A full UK car driving licence
* The ability to work safely, independently and as part of a supportive workshop team
* HGV or PSV driving licence would be an advantage
* IRTEC accreditation and manufacturer training would also be beneficial but are not essential
The government recognises a Level 3 NVQ, diploma or advanced apprenticeship as a Level 3 qualification; however, weโve intentionally allowed equivalent commercial experience so capable industry applicants arenโt unnecessarily excluded. Government qualification-level guidanceโ ๏ฟผ
