CA Cars opened it's doors in 1986 by Sylvia and Murray Yeo to supply vehicles to their driving school: Acclaim Driving acadamy. For years that is how we operated but in the early 2000s we began supplying independant ADI's as well as those of the driving school. Meanwhile, Robinsons Contracts was founded by Karen Laundon and sold in 2005. Robinsons, better known as the Driving Instructor Centre, eventually became Hitachi, now Novuna. In 2012, the Yeo family were looking for an exit, and entered discussions with Karen for her to return to the industry to take over CA Cars. The two families were close, and so they worked together to grow CA Cars and took over the lease of Kilby Bridge Garage from Hitachi. Karen and most of her team from Robinsons reunited at CA Cars, which in 2025 was taken over by her daughter, who is also the god-daughter of the founders. Katie has worked in the industry since 2012 and works alongside her mother and other members of the family to ensure we keep to our roots. We're a team who has been around longer than most, we know our customers and how to help, use us, even if just for advice, we're happy to help everyone.
