Recovery Truck Driver / Recovery Operative
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift Pattern: Primarily Day Shifts
We are looking for a reliable and professional Recovery Truck Driver / Recovery Operative to join our growing team.
The role involves recovering broken-down, accident-damaged, and non-running vehicles from roadside locations, homes, garages, and other destinations. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you will often be assisting customers during stressful situations.
Requirements:
Minimum 7.5 Tonne (C1) Driving Licence
Valid and up-to-date Driver CPC Qualification
Digital Tachograph Card
Good knowledge of vehicle loading and securing procedures
Ability to work safely and professionally under pressure
Strong customer service and communication skills
Flexible and dependable attitude
Preferred:
Previous vehicle recovery or transport experience
Mechanical knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
Experience operating recovery trucks and vehicle transport equipment
Duties Include:
Recovering and transporting vehicles safely and efficiently
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
Completing relevant paperwork and digital records
Providing excellent customer service at all times
Ensuring compliance with road transport regulations and company procedures
