Fulbeck Sprint Series 2026: Round 6 - E-PLATE WEEKEND!!

Our home for the weekend has once again been Kart Circuit, I can certainly say that we had a positive weekend!

Qualifying: P5

Heat 1: P5 - P6

Heat 2: P6 - P6

Heat 3: P6 - P5

Pre-Final: P6 - P6

The Final: P6 - P5 (P6 on track)

Having bruised my ribs early on in Fridays testing which resulted in me only completing 11 laps across the whole day, I was nervous heading into Saturday having only completed a few laps in testing and still experiencing some pain. However, In full racing driver determination mode I was able to push through the pain to complete the mornings testing before heading into Qualifying. Despite still struggling, I was able to complete qualifying where I set my personal best lap time and then went on to do it 3 times consecutively too, putting me in P5 on what was an extremely tight grid! Then it was onto Heat 1.. After getting a great start which allowed me to be battling within the main pack, we unfortunately had to take avoiding action resulting in me spinning which caused me to lose a few places. However, as this was early on in the race I had time to make my way back through the pack to finish P6.

Onto Sunday...
Heading into Sunday I was excited to see what I could do as I was in a good position to start the day. Heats 2&3 certainly didn't disappoint as I was able to be battling with the mid pack to finish P6 in Heat 2 and even made up a place to finish P5 in Heat 3! The Pre-Final and Final went the same way as we were able to have some awesome battles and finish P6 on track in both races before being promoted to P5 in the final.

Despite struggling with my ribs throughout the whole weekend, I left feeling very positive about the results and my performance as I was able to stay within the close battle across the whole weekend and achieve some pretty good and consistent results! Now it's time to reset and prepare for Round 7 in a few weeks time.

Fulbeck Sprint Series 2026: Round 5 -

Our home for the weekend has once again been Kart Circuit, I can certainly say that we had a mixed weekend!

Qualifying: P9

Heat 1: P9 - P7

Heat 2: P7 - P9

The Final: P7 - P11

After a great day of testing on Saturday where I set my personal best time it was on to Sunday Raceday to see what we could do. Since the last meeting we had made a number of changes to the Kart in order to improve handling on the rear. However, a couple of normal set up procedures proved to be non-compatible with the changes resulting in me qualifying in P9 with only 0.4 seconds separating the top 10. I was able to move up a couple of places in Heat 1 to finish P7 despite still having some difficulty with the setup. The issues continued further into Heat 2 resulting in the kart becoming slightly sluggish leading to me dropping back a few places to finish P9. Going into the final I was still optimistic starting P7 that I could maintain and possible improve position. After having a good start and I was able to stay with the leading pack for the first few laps, before getting hit by another driver which resulted in the steering going stiff and me dropping to P11 where I then finished the race. Despite struggling with various issues throughout the weekend, I am still happy with the overall results as the pack was extremely close all day. This now gives us areas to improve on ahead of next outing in a few weeks time for Round 6 of the Fulbeck Sprint Seies & E Plate round!!

Fulbeck Sprint Series 2026: Round 4 -

Our home for the weekend has once again been Kart Circuit, I can certainly say that the weekend didn't go to plan.

Qualifying: P8
After a tricky test day on Saturday (where Coach Foster even took it out for a spin!), I was looking forward to seeing what I could do in Qualifying. I managed to qualify P8 which I was happy with as there was only 0.7 seconds between the Pole sitter and P10!

Heat 1: P8 - Result Pending...
After getting a good start, I was able to be right in the mix with the front pack and battling for position. Unfortunately about half way through the race, a serious incident occurred resulting in a driver and a member of the Marshalling team being injured. This therefore left the circuit without an ambulance meaning that the meeting had to be called off. Myself and the rest of the team send our best wishes to all involved and hope you have a speedy recovery!

I'd also like to say a big well done to my fellow Pirates who were also racing this weekend as you had a few great results.

Mallory Park 2026!!

This weekend has once again been spent spectating and supporting my fellow pirates!! Not a great weekend for us results wise, but we certainly had a lot of laughs and celebrated multiple team birthdays!! 🎂🥳

This weekend we swapped the drving for spectating as we headed to Whilton Mill to support the rest of the crew. We had a weekend full of Sunshine, Race fumes and Laughter! Although I would have loved to be driving, it was great to spend time watching my team achieve some awesome results.

With the added bonus of Formula Blue joining us too!! 🏴‍☠️❤☀️🏆🥳🏁

Fulbeck Sprint Series 2026: Round 3 -

Our home for the weekend has once again been and what a weekend it's been!!

Qualifying: P4
After having a positive test day on Saturday I was excited heading into Qualifying to see where I would be starting the day! This excitement certainly continued as I qualified P4 which is my personal best qualifying result in Senior Max!!

Heat 1: P4 - P7
This positive energy definitely carried on into Heat 1 as I managed to nail the start and maintain P4 for the rest of the race and across the line. Unfortunately after the race I received a 10 second time penalty for cutting the chicane to avoid an incident resulting in me dropping to P7.

Heat 2: P7 - P4
After receiving a penalty in Heat 1 causing me to finish P7, this meant that I would be starting Heat 2 from the 4th row. However, I was determined to move forward during the race and I was able to do just that and come across the line to finish P4, setting another personal best finish in Senior Max!

Final: P4 - P5
Heading into the final it was decision making time as it had started to rain and the meeting had been declared open. As the rain wasn't coming down too heavy and with a large majority of the grid still remaining on slicks we decided to do the same and hope that it wouldn't rain anymore. Luckily this was definitely the right choice of tyre as the rain stopped shortly after the race begun. However, as we all crossed the line to begin the race my kart oiled up causing me to drop to the back of the grid. Fortunately I was able to continue the race and was able to make up 9 places to finish P5!!

Overall its been a great weekend and by far our best in Senior Max so far. Now it's time to rest and reset for Round 4 in a few weeks time!
