Curious about what happens during a driving test? Here's what to expect on test day.

An eyesight check 👀
You'll read a number plate from 20 metres away or 20.5 metres if it's an old-style plate.

'Show me, tell me' vehicle safety questions 💭
You'll answer 2 questions about vehicle safety. The 'tell me' question comes before you start driving and the 'show me' question while you're on the move.

General driving ability ✅
You'll drive on a variety of roads, but not on motorways, including 20 to 35 minutes of independent driving, following either a sat nav, traffic signs, or both.

Reversing your vehicle 🚗
You'll be asked to do one of the following: parallel park, park in a bay, or pull up on the right and reverse 2 car lengths. Your examiner will let you know which one.

Knowing what's coming can make test day feel a lot less daunting.

🎉 BOOM! HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO RAJVEER! 🎉
A massive, first-attempt pass this morning at Wigston Test Centre for Rajveer! 🤩 He took an Intensive Course, putting in 40 hours of hard work with me at Adept Drive, and smashed it out of the park. 💥 Efficient. Effective. Mobile!
Just look at that smile in IMG-20260717-WA0008.jpg! That is the face of pure driving freedom. No more waiting for buses, no more asking for lifts. Total independence! 🌍
👇 To all learners in Oadby, Wigston, and Leicester: This could be you next!
🔥 Here is the absolute TRUTH about current driving slots around Wigston and South Leicester: 🔥
Our intensive courses like Rajveer's are our #1 popular option because they work, but the slots to take them are extremely limited. Test dates are rare, and our coaching gaps are filling up faster than we can open them. 👀
If you do not secure your intensive slot with us NOW, you risk missing the window to get qualified before the end of the year. You'll be the one watching your mates drive off while you're still waiting at the bus stop in the cold. Don't be that person.
This is your final warning for the next round of slots. When they are gone, they are gone for months.
💨 Want that feeling of freedom Rajveer has? MESSAGE US RIGHT NOW for details on our final intensive slots for this season. These will be gone by the end of the day.

🎉 Join us in congratulating Lilian on an incredible FIRST-TIME PASS! 🎉
If you are an adult learner who feels anxious about getting behind the wheel, Lilian’s story is for you. Today, she passed her driving test with flying colors—scoring only 3 minor faults on her first try! 🚗💨

Enter her instructor, Ravi! 🌟 Ravi is known for his incredible patience and passion for teaching. He took the time to calmly explain everything, breaking down the rules of the road until Lilian felt completely safe and confident. He didn't just teach her to pass a test; he taught her how to truly drive.
🩺 To our local healthcare workers doing shift work, newcomers adjusting to the UK, and young adults desperate for independence: We know how badly you need your license, and we know exactly how to help you get it.
Don't let anxiety or bad habits hold you back any longer. Let Ravi and the Adeptdrive team help you get on the road!
