We haven’t gone ‘FULL FETTLE’ on this car however we have done a fair amount of work to get it back to spec, including but not limited to:
- new clutch kit, fork and box seal
- service, cambelt, waterpump & thermostat
- refurbed wheels and new tyres
- new shocks, springs, bump stops, drop links, wishbones, spring mounts and fitting hardware
- replacement colour coded bonnet
- headlight refurb
- Most importantly: checked, underside washed and corrosion treated the shell and suspension components with our range of Bilt Hamber anti corrosion waxes.
Before our ownership:
- seats refoamed and in great condition
- corrosion has been cut out and dealt with prior to our ownership to a good DIY standard.
- boot handle replaced
- leather gearstick gaitor and gear cap
- wiper arms replaced
Time to thin the fleet down and let one fly the nest, this was intended as our courtesy car but it’s probably too good for that purpose and I’d hate to see it end up in poor condition.
The car could use some time spent on the cosmetic’s such as a machine polish, spoiler repainted and plastic trims cleaned and treated but this does give someone the opportunity to buy one in good condition at a lesser cost, we can of course add any services to the sale price with some discount.
