Assistant Fitter – Loft Fitting

Due to expansion, an exciting position has become available for an assistant fitter to join our friendly team based in Bedale, North Yorkshire & the surrounding area. The successful applicant will earn a competitive salary, as well as a generous annual leave entitlement & company pension. If you have experience in basic joinery, maintenance & DIY, then this is a perfect opportunity to grow your skills, knowledge and earn good money whilst doing so.

Here at SAFELOFT, we specialise in transforming the customers unused loft area into an easily accessible, safe storage space for all of their belongings. We specialise in loft access, loft boarding, insulation & lighting amongst many other things. We work in a fast paced, friendly environment & no 2 days are the same. If you have a proactive, methodical work ethic & are looking to expand your skills, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Role Requirements
• Basic Joinery, Maintenance or DIY knowledge
• Knowledge of power tools
• Providing an impeccable service within a customer’s home
• A Proactive approach to work
• Physically Fit as job requires heavy lifting
• Working within a team of 2 in a fast-paced environment

Role Responsibilities
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Operating and tending machinery
• Following instructions from supervisors and implementing job plans
• Cleaning and preparing job site
• Reliability and Pride in your own work is a must

•Position available - HGV Roadside Technician

Due to further contracts we’re looking to expand our team.
This is a mobile role and will have an on call rota involved.
•Knowledge of ABS/EBS systems
•Good fault finding and diagnostic knowledge
•Hard working
•Strive to meet deadlines (even when we’re under pressure) 🤘🏼
•HGV licence would be a plus, but is not essential
•Own tools are a must, big equipment will be provided (hub sockets,ect. But not basic tooling)

“It ain’t a normal clean workshop job” this is roadside and we’re out in the elements.

Van and uniform provided, on call rota. Rates between £17-£20ph - vary with experience.

Based in Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley.
