Customer brought this Golf in for sills to be fitted, definitely an improvement

Had a Nissan Stagea (essentially a Skyline wagon) in for a couple of areas of welding. Once the side skirts were eventually removed (despite the massive effort of a whole load of glue trying to prevent this..!!) it turned into a massive sh*tshow of covered up rust, poor previous welding repairs and some kind of spray on sealer to cover it up.
Cut out the rust and poorly welded patches, cleaned it all up before starting the rebuild from scratch as you can't get repair panels so it was all made by hand.
This one is picture heavy as it was a massive amount of work, including inner and outer sills, centre stiffeners, reinforced jacking points, subframe mounts and floor pan repairs too, and everyone is very happy with the end results. A big thank you if you manage to look through all of the pics!

Mazda MX5, drivers side rear outer sill. It's been patched before, but the rust hadn't been fully cut out and its was festering bad. The drain holes had blocked up too so when the water ran through it there's almost a silt deposit left in there which holds the water in for quite a bit longer than you'd want... Cut out the rust where needed, treat where necessary and protect it as much as possible and it'll last for years to come
