Remember the Ultimate green Focus RS we treated to our Gold Correction Detail and Gtechniq coatings?
The vehicle owner got in touch to thank me for my involvement and also to tell me that since we did the car in may that it’s had a total of 9 wins in class and also took the overall Concourse Gold Cup!

Of course not all of this is our work and the prep work that lies elsewhere other than the paintwork is down to the client himself, however, I’m still very proud to be associated with this vehicle.

Little show and tell on lighting today….

As you can see from the video, showing paintwork in direct light vs reflected light makes a massive difference on what you can see.

As a sponsor of the Aire Valley RS owners group, I was invited to judge their show and shine today.
Always a pleasure to give up my time for these lads and lasses, great people.

Special thanks to Gtechniq for providing the prizes.

There was a clear 1st and second place, but then three tied for the third, so after a re-visit it became clear which was our 3rd and the points were adjusted.

Quality presentation of all the cars, and to top it off, in the concourse class (which I didn’t judge) the Ultimate Green RS we completed earlier this week came first in its class to a delighted owner, very happy for him.

Ford Focus RS ultimate green.
This one was a big one for me, detailed many mark 2 RS’s but this is my first ultimate green car and a colour I wanted to work on for many years.

Our gold Detail on this one with around 30 hours of machine polishing to improve the finish and bring the paint up to the standards of the rest of the car which will now be used as a concourse car.

This was then treated to Gtechniq crystal serum ultra topped with Gtechniq Exo to make the vehicle easier to maintain moving into the future.

Very happy with what we achieved on this one as was our client which of course is the important thing.
