Today we said a massive thank you, goodbye and happy retirement to our Bodyshop Mechanic, Paul Blanksby. Paul celebrated his 66th birthday today and his final day of work, after 51 years working for 3 generations of the same family. He began aged 15 as an Apprentice Mechanic at Tate Ford on New York Road, and finished up here today. We hope he enjoys a long, healthy and well earned retirement, and that he catches lots of fish!

Happy Birthday Paul! 70 years old today, and in his 50th year as a staff member at Tates. Working hard to collect and deliver vehicles in the snow and ice today. Keeping the country moving, thank you Paul!

As a repairer of key worker fleet vehicles, we will be fully operational throughout the coming lockdown. Our opening hours remain Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm, and we continue to run the night paint shift in order to offer excellent turnaround time to vehicles off the road. We have consulted with our parts and paint suppliers, and they are remaining open also.
