The examiner was full of praise and said to Steven “Excellent professional driving!
Usually at the end of the test we advise you to look at your faults and fix them but in your case just keep doing what you are doing.”👌🏻

Steven has been helped towards achieving his pink licence by our lovely instructor Gulzar who delivers manual lessons is LS6, 7, 8, 9 & 17.

𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗗𝗜 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲

Andy, our Trainee Instructor who delivers automatic lessons in Leeds 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, & 28 won this by a good margin after a very successful year of First Time Passes. As well as rave reviews from his students.

Andy received a £50 Hickory's Smokehouse
voucher to use with his Fiancée, as it’s one of his favourite places to eat out.

Coming in as a very close 2nd was our lovely instructor Vicky who delivers automatic lessons in Morley, West Leeds & Wakefield areas.
Vicky’s chilled and reassuring approach to her pupils helps them build confidence and successfully pass their tests, mainly at the first attempt.
Vicky received £100 LIVIN'Italy voucher to use with her wife and their girls, as pasta is Vicky’s favourite meal!

Gulzar was awarded this prize after an outstanding year of First Time Passes with his students, who he has helped with his lovely calm and supportive teaching style.
Gulzar delivers manual lessons in Leeds 6, 7, 8, 9 & 17.
Well deserved Gulzar - his prize was £100 Just Eat UK voucher to treat himself and his family.

This weekend The Driving Academy are holding their Awards Dinner, where both instructors and their respective partners are treated to a night out and the winners are given wonderful prizes for “their instructor of the year” highest pass rates etc.

Nicky Harris the owner is proud of the reputation of the school and believes in rewarding her team for their commitment to maintaining high standards and excellent first time pass rates.

The award winners receive prizes, such as - hotel nights away, luxury spa days, meal vouchers etc. for both them and their partners to enjoy some rest and relaxation in appreciation of their ongoing efforts.

This comes by coincidence in the same week that Nicky was announced to be a finalist in Ilkley Business Awards 2026, for “Best Boss”!
