Project Gt28 hybrid conversion is underway
Engine removed
630 injectors installed with correct spacers
powdercoated rockers and new gasket set
Hybrids test fitted for clearance
Downpipes modified for Garrets by previous owner - not the best so needed a tidy and new brackets welded on for gearbox fixings etc
New sensors and vacuum lines for n75
new 710 diverter valves and lines
Painted Y pipe
new DIY spider hose
removed old inlet manifold with LPG ports

Next on the list when time allows is mock up custom turbo lines
wrap downpipes
fit custom inlets and boost hardware with new silicone hoses

Mk1 cabriolet seat in for a bolster and foam repair.

A little struggle trying to match up the grey fabric but managed to source a rear seat from Newcastle and just about squeezed a bolster pattern section from it 🫣

Foam repaired and reinforced with a section of leather underneath

The old wire holders that hold the fabric down had rotted away so made new and stitched it all together - was able to salvage most stuff inc the original piping 👍

Seat all went back together ok and back with the owner 😎

Integra Type R seat in for bolster repairs and new panels. A good transformation on this and back to factory standard 👍👍...

new fuel filter and lines to engine
new side trims
painted lower trims
new fuel cap
refurbed clocks
new dash trims
new window winder set
new wiper arms
new expansion tank and hoses
repaired broken wires to webber carb and tune up for open ramair filter
replaced old bumpers and body kit for metal euro bumpers and cl spats
fitted red rear lights installed a period Raid steering wheel
coil overs with new top mounts fitted and dropped 20mm all round

Out for its first show at the weekend - running like a dream 😎

This car is up for sale and ready for its new owner

Bike was shorting out and not cutting off even with key out 🫣

New starter solenoid
New kill switch and pilot hole drilled for location pin (this was missing on old set up so throttle moved around)
lots of lose connections
resoldered the fuel pump connections
wired in shift power module with switch on handle bar 💥
fitted a new seat set
Torqued all bolts and fasteners
removed orange accents throughout the bike
polished carbon
cleaned and lubed throughout

she's now starting on the button (and turning off) with added pops and bangs through the quick shifter 👍

reworking of problem boost leaks rectified by a couple of new hoses and modded 90 degree ali pipe

no more leaks and back to boosting fine 👍
