So today we handed over this van to a customer this came to us as a rotten 1.9 td with a poor interior . We stripped the van to a shell and rebuilt it lots of new panels and paint all new interior carpeting ,electrics,all the units ,flooring,bed . new suspension new exhaust 2.5 tdi with big injectors and a map . New suspension new wheels new exhaust . Full u under body restoration and underseal . So a full refit . Ready for another 20 years of memory building .

As any of you that have been following our page we have been playing about with mechanical pump on 2.5 tdi acv engines . Today I put mine on the rolling road to see how my set up would perform. After lots of adjustment and alterations over the last year . So the result is 220 bhp average over 7 runs 25 psi of boost and not too much smoke

This navigator coach built came to us with a 2.0 petrol . We have removed the engine and fitted a 2.5 tdi but we have built a mechanical pump so no need for and ecu

A few jobs we have completed this week . We got the lotus Carlton done 2 new turbos a new clutch and the gear box out put shaft seal, she is now up and running . A turbo conversion on a 2.4 aab engine and a 5th gear upgrade . in a mint t4 camper And a 2.5 tdi engine in a t5 .

Funny old day today from a cambelt on a 2.4 syncro to an engine conversion from a 1.9 to a 2.4 turbo then getting a poorly lotus Carlton delivered .

A little projects we have been on with for a customer . We actual bought this pick up to take the engine and box out to use on another customers vehicle . When it arrived it was too nice to brake . The lad in the unit next door asked us if he could buy it and have extra bits done to it . So we gave it a full service fitted led lights leather seats and steering wheel a new dash and floor mat . Gave it electric windows electric mirrors and central locking. Up rated rear springs , 16” load rated steels freshly powdered coated with new all season load rated tyres and a new rear bed .

This van came to us with running issues it’s had a 1.9 tdi conversion. Well not what we would call a conversion. The able loom had been left in to run the clocks that didn’t work properly. Then another loom had been run through the bulk head near the gear box . Another set of clocks had been stuffed up the back of the glove box along with the ecu and the loom . And a ignition barrel with steel lock under the carpet . So we had no choice we ripped out all the wiring removed both looms and fitted 1 loom and a set of blue clock that work .

Here we have a little build we have done for a customer. He came to us asking about a new 2.4 turbo engine I told him about the 2.5 tdi with a custom built mechanical pump that we do that has double the power . So he went with our advise . So we also put 150 bhp Bosch rebuilt injectors and a t16 compressor housing fitted to the t14 turbo with a custom 3” down pipe . Rebuilt gear box with better 5th gear and new linkage bushes .
We also sorted bits of wiring out cleaned the engine bay up and fitted b6 bilstien shocks all round with t5 t32 springs on the rear .
With this been an early 2.4 we had to alter modify or change other parts to make it all work . The end result is a far more powerfull camper with a better ride and handling .
