This Elise S1 B&C 160 is more than just a driver’s car—it’s part of our story. Back in the late-’90s, before Lotus offered the Sport 160 package themselves, we at Bell & Colvill installed the full B&C 160 upgrade. Finished in striking New Aluminium with classic black leather, it’s racked up just 15,200 miles and has had only two owners.

From day one, it’s had more than standard Elise performance: upgraded cylinder head, performance cams, uprated valve springs, and a stainless exhaust among the works that turn it into a lively, eagerly-revving machine. Inside, carbon fibre trim, leather seats, and a removable Momo steering wheel make every drive feel purposeful. Upfront driving lamps and Dymag wheels match its sporting look, while a 4-point harness and headlamp covers underline that this is built for more than Sunday runs.

We had so much fun working with a great customer on this unique Lotus Emira. Starting with a Nimbus Grey V6 First Edition, we transformed it into something truly special.

The interior features vibrant orange and blue Alcantara, with orange stitching set against grey Alcantara on the door cards and steering wheel. Outside, the bold matte orange and blue stripes carry the theme through, while a Nitron FastRoad kit and Milltek exhaust system sharpen the drive and soundtrack. We even took weight out of the corners with Bola FLZ super lightweight alloys and titanium wheel bolts – the finishing touch on a one-off Emira that was an absolute joy to create.
