🚗 How much tread is left on your tyres?

Your tyres are the only part of your vehicle in contact with the road, so keeping them in good condition is essential for your safety.

The legal minimum tread depth in the UK is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre, around the entire circumference. However, many experts recommend replacing tyres once they reach 3mm, as braking performance and wet-weather grip can begin to reduce significantly below this.
